BIKE VILLAGE

Year 2,000, Bike Village was born. In the resolutions of Antonello Chiara and Gianrenzo Bazzu, the founders, there is the realization of off-road sporting events, inspired by a more modern and almost obsessive attention to the large "population" of enthusiasts, whether they are "Pros" or Amateurs. Antonello Chiara has an enviable curriculum as a motorcyclist and has been a protagonist since the "dawn" of the Rally in Sardinia. He has gained a great deal of experience and decides that the time has come to create a link between the races for professionals and "advanced" enthusiasts " and the Events, very few of a certain level at the time, for an equally passionate, but less "racing" world. The link is Bike Village.

It is the company devoted to the organization of competitive and leisure time events for pilots and "amateurs", professionals and amateurs. Chiara and Bazzu are successful entrepreneurs "in life", and profound connoisseurs of the Sardinian territory, with which they are both in love. Bike Village, therefore, will organize its Events in that natural Paradise. Bike Village has its roots in San Teodoro, the birthplace of Gian Renzo Bazzu and the adopted home of Antonello Chiara. The Bike Village activity was inaugurated with the organization of guided tours and show events.

 Of course that's just the beginning. In fact, while the tourist activity grows, Bike Village implements an important logistic structuring process, and the Events evolve accordingly

For the first time a Supercross is organized in Olbia which brings the aces to Sardinia

of Motocross, and the Cavalcata del Sole and the Sardegna Legend Rally were born, unique events of their kind and strongly characterized by the style of Chiara and Bazzu. The Events achieve immediate success, and prepare for the great leap of Bike Village.

​ Thus the Sardegna Rally Race was born, which after a test-edition becomes a test of the Cross-Country Rally World Championship already the following year, in 2007. The "gods" of the scene land in Sardinia World Rally Championship, and the Rally becomes Number One for the number of Drivers and Teams, a record that is invariably repeated at each edition.

The reasons for the success of the Bike Village Events can be found in a "deadly" competition cocktail of the highest technical and organizational level, with special atmospheres,and setting.
